What Is Our Glory And Joy

Most people talk about their pride and joy in describing that which they are glorying in their life.  It may be their child, grandchild, or perhaps it could be the occupation that they are very proud of; it could even be their large amount of savings and investments or perhaps that car that means so much to them.  But, Paul takes us off guard and perches us into heaven before the Lord and tells the Thessalonians that despite Satan and hoards of people trying to stop the Gospel his glory and joy will be them.  This does not discount our joy of being in heaven or seeing the Lord Jesus Christ but it impacts us to know the value of seeing that person in heaven and rejoicing with them.
